FIRST PENANCE and FIRST COMMUNION
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
2023-2024 SCHEDULE
Grades 1 and 2

Opening Liturgy is October 1 st , 2023 9:30am at St. Francis Xavier
Starting this year, we are implementing a 2-year preparation program for receiving
the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion. Both sacraments will
still be received in Grade 2, as they have been in the past, but we will start
preparing our children in Grade 1.
All sessions will be held in McShea Auditorium, after the St. Francis Xavier
9:30am Sunday mass on the following dates:
October 1, 15
November 5, 19
December 3, 17
January 7, 21
February 4 – retreat
March 3, *17
First Reconciliation: March 9 th, 1:00pm at ST. Francis Xavier Church
April 7- retreat, 21
First Communion: May 4 th , 10:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Church
